Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer, Athletic Trainer will assist in prevention, recognition, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of student-athlete injuries.

Education/Skills Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited athletic training or internship program is required; a Master’s in a related field of Sports Medicine is preferred. Knowledge of NCAA regulations and certification by the National Athletic Trainer’s Association required. NATABOC certification, CPR/FPR/AED/SFA certification required (instructor preferred). A Maine State ATC license is required.

Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents

At least 2 years of experience as a collegiate athletic trainer preferred.

Standard Work Days and Hours

Weekday afternoon and early evening hours. Weekend hours based on team practices and game/match schedules. Other hours as needed. This is a part-time, non-benefit eligible position.
