General Summary:This role is responsible for supporting the inbound volume of quote requests in support of client acquisition and growth. The incumbent will work in partnership with the Market Specialist and Sr. Market Specialists for ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and leveraging critical thinking to build knowledge and experience over time in all aspects of rating and proposal generation to help drive profitable growth.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound quote requests ensuring appropriate level of detail is provided and ensuring there is a documented timeframe noted in partnership with the field sales teams.

  • Support quote volume for the overall organizational driving knowledge and experience to progress through the job family.

  • As an extension of the field sales teams, build and foster effective partnership to help support delivery to the market in partnership with the Sr. Market Specialist.

  • Identify and obtain necessary information to complete initial plan designs and/or proposals.

  • Document and communicate case specific changes and information to Sr. Market Specialist.

  • Coordinate broker licensing with Broker Compensation Services.

  • Support Market Specialist and Sr. Market Specialists with Sold Case submissions as needed.

  • Ensure quality and accuracy of final rates applying appropriate underwriting risk rules.

  • Support the accurate, timely and smooth submission of sold cases, as part of the acquisition process.

  • Operate with an eye on continuous improvement and offer ideas to enhance workflow.

  • Operate with a sense of ownership while delivering results and focus on the client experience.

  • Build and nurture effective partnerships as you interact with peers and partners instilling confidence and trust in your abilities.

  • Collaborate and support the overall team and the field sales teams you support to manage high volumes and seasonality of the business.

  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications

  • 2 or 4 year college degree preferred or related industry experience

  • Solid communication skills both written and verbal

  • Ability to build relationships leveraging interpersonal skills

  • Ability to prioritize, organize, complete multiple tasks and accurately handle a high volume of work
