About the Job

Responsible for performing a variety of coordinating, routing, and material handling duties involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Performs inventory control activities, including cycle count, data entry, report generation, and reconciliation. May be responsible for ensuring incoming materials are properly routed. May monitor the flow of materials and parts between departments in order to meet scheduled commitments. Requires oral communication skills, visual acuity, manual dexterity and successful completion of on-the-job training.

Minimum requirements

Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of relevant job experience with a HS diploma.

Preferred qualifications

Must be able to operate forklift and electric pallet jack. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly. Must have basic Microsoft Office skills. 5S experience desired.
